Chrysler 300 remote start not working.
I went to pick up the car and they explained to me that the blower fan was not working in fact nothing from the A/C unit was working however there Scan tool. showed that everything was working and it recognized everything. Blower motor accepting signals from Scan tool, Shows A/C signal and pressure signal. Re-circ and A/C light don't work.
Pressed the button on the remote and it would not lock. Also tried the boot release from the key and that would not open. Car starts fine with the key. Tried the spare and the same issue with that too. Looked in the manual and it shows 2 fuses relating to Sentry Key Remote Keyless Entry. Fuse 14 and 29 (in the boot).The speaker wire in the flex between the body and door may be broken. Test the speaker from the connector at the amp to rule that out. By the way, a simple test to check a speaker is to hook up a 1.5 volt battery to the terminals. A lot of people use a 9V but I prefer the 1.5. If it is not programmed properly, the factory anti theft is designed to shut the vehicle down after 3 seconds. I would go with a better brand of bypass.

In vehicles without factory Remote Start, usually Hood Ajar Swich works in Digital mode and is connected to the TIPM Connector C2 pin 14 and Ground. To enable Remote Start, the Hood Ajar Switch: must operate in the Analog mode and; wich signal wire shuld be connected to the TIPM Connector C2 pin 10 (instead of pin 14) and Ground.
I hooked up the T harness and tried to start the car with the remote. The car turned on but didnt crank over. Then when i started it with the key, I tried to turn it off (turned key to off position and removed the key) and the car kept running! There are two wire that need to be tappedw into via the large 5 pin harness.

I guess if you have the horn set to honk on lock or unlock with the remote it will honk when you use the remote start. I don't have the horn set to honk w/locking and it doesn't do it when I remote start it.

The cluster module also operates all the door locks so its not likely to be a faulty cluster module, its more likely to be a door mechanism fault or a wire off.
